Place Standard Alliance - June 2018
NHS Health Scotland, the Scottish Government and Architecture & Design Scotland hosted the Place Standard Alliance Event on the 7th June 2018 in Glasgow.
Event description
Craig McLaren from the Royal Town Planning Institute chaired the event with Brian Evans from the Glasgow School of Art giving the keynote speech. These were followed by important updates from John McNairney, Chief Planner and Eibhlin McHugh, Co-Director on the Review of the Scottish Planning System and Scotland's new Public Health Body.
In addition, there was an update on the Place Standard Programme by John Howie, Organisational Lead for Place, NHS Health Scotland and learning from an example of effective practice across Scotland by John Semple, Regeneration Project Officer, East Ayrshire Council.
